How did we get here?
From eight silver coins to New Zealand's trusted bullion brokerage
We have had an interest in precious metals for several years now, but as a family we found some of the more recent and rapid changes occurring in society gave us the needed push to start to grow our own personal treasuries.
At the time we started with eight single 1-ounce silver coins—some of the infamous Kruger Rands, to be exact. This was a huge investment for us as a young family, requiring several months of savings, and we were so excited to see and handle them for the first time.
We shared this achievement with a handful of those close to us who also found the coins intriguing. We soon discovered that others we knew were interested in investing securely in precious metals but didn't know where to buy them—or who to trust to buy them from. This is where The Gold House® was birthed.
