Our story
How The Gold House® began
From eight coins to a brokerage built on trust
In 2019, KGM Holdings International Limited was registered in New Zealand and The Gold House® opened in Tauranga as a family-owned bullion brokerage.
We had followed precious metals for years. As a family, we decided it was time to stop reading about them and start building a treasury of our own.
We started with eight single one-ounce silver coins. For a young family, that took months of saving. Holding those first coins was both exciting and sobering.
Friends noticed. Others wanted a secure way to buy bullion, but did not know who to trust. That is where The Gold House® began.
From those first coins, we now buy and sell gold, silver, and platinum for New Zealanders every week. Scale has not replaced coffee, conversation, or personal attention.

We have grown, but the part we value most has not changed. We still enjoy sitting down over coffee, hearing what matters to you, and taking the time to understand your questions. Gold and silver are personal purchases. We want the people who trust us to feel known, never processed.
